Tokens and Rewards

At Daylesford Academy we believe that the key to promoting positive behaviour is through praise and rewards. The ways in which we reward students for different aspects of their behaviour for learning is through Points and Tokens.

Points:

• Rewarded for three categories: Behaviour, Effort and Punctuality. Points are awarded at the end of each lesson by the staff member that is teaching. They are marked by a number 0-3.

Tokens:

• Given to students for going above and beyond expectations, doing extra work in school or at home, trying something new or being kind to others. Tokens can then be redeemed from an item in the shop that students can access when with a member of staff.
