Inclusive Attendance at Daylesford Academy
At Daylesford Academy, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive through consistent, supported school attendance. As a proud affiliate of Inclusive Attendance, we are committed to embedding a child-centred, recognition-based approach to attendance that works for every learner and their family.
Through participation in the Inclusive Attendance Professional Development Programme, our staff engage in ongoing training designed to deepen understanding and improve practice.
We implement a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), a structured framework that allows us to intervene early, personalise support, and work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external agencies. This three-tiered model ensures that we can offer:
-
Universal strategies for all pupils,
-
Individualised interventions for those at risk of persistent absence, and
-
Intensive support for those requiring specialised services or multi-agency input.
Our approach aligns with the Department for Education’s Working Together to Improve School Attendance guidance, and is firmly rooted in partnership, safeguarding, and the pursuit of positive outcomes for all.
We invite parents and carers to explore the resources below, including our bullet-point attendance guide and an overview of our MTSS framework. Together, we can make school a consistent, safe, and successful place for every child.
